5th Grade - So Far

This year has been awesome so far for Taylor. She has a male teacher, Mr. Boyd. It's a special Ed. class. There are four boys and one girl - Taylor. She is in this class for about half of the day. Then she has Science with her regular classmates and Social Studies with the other half of her regular classmates. Plus she also has OT, PT, Adaptive PE plus band. She is learning to play the trumptet and doing quite well.

In Mr. Boyd's class there was a struggle of power at first; but after about 4 weeks - she loves it. There are lots of rules but he really rewards good behavior and following instructions. He is patient with Taylor, expects the best out of her and challenges her to do better. I am really hoping this will be a terrific year for her.
